Abstract
This work aims to create a profile of households in the city of Rio de Janeiro based on data from the 1991 and 2000 Demographic Censuses. Whenever possible and relevant, the data will be presented according to the Administrative Regions (RAs). Therefore, this is a study designed to support the understanding of housing demand in both quantitative and qualitative terms.
