Abstract

The population projection for Brazil in 2008 was revised by IBGE through the incorporation of fertility parameters estimated based on the most recent PNADs. This new projection was discussed with experts on the subject, using as a basis "various indicators representative of Brazil's dynamics" (IBGE, 2008).
