Recovery and Revitalization of the Port Area

Abstract

The goal of this research is to deepen the socioeconomic understanding of the neighborhoods of Santo Cristo, Gamboa, and Saúde in terms of the resident population and transient population; the economic activities carried out; the social agents operating in the area; and the potentialities and barriers to development, in order to identify the different social groups present in the area, as well as the local economic specifics.
